- Quill preparation: Feathers are ground and supplied ready for you to chop or feather-burn to the shape you prefer.

Why choose wild turkey primary feathers?
Primary flight feathers have a comparatively firm structure and natural curvature. When made into arrow fletching, feather barbs compress as they clear the bow shelf, making them especially popular for traditional longbows and recurves. Their striking natural pattern also gives handcrafted arrows an authentic appearance.
Processing note: Natural and dyed feather preparation can differ. Natural feathers may retain more of their original surface characteristics; dyed feathers undergo additional processing. No natural feather fletching is fully waterproof.
